Herepath Half

The Herepath Half is a trail race, organised by Taunton’s Running Forever Running Club.
Unfortunately, the 2023 event was cancelled, so we’re now planning for the 2024 event on Sunday 3 November 2024 at 10:30am.
The route generally follows the Staple Fitzpaine Herepath Trail in the Blackdown Hills and is approximately 13.7 miles long.
The trail reaches the highest point in the Blackdowns with fabulous views.
Herepaths were originally important trade and communication routes between settlements during the ninth century – they are often referred to as people’s paths.
The race is run in conjunction with Thurlbear Primary School, and the entry fee includes a donation to the school PTA. The 2022 race raised £1,000 for Thurlbear Primary School PTA, and around £700 for Samaritans.
Entry Fees:
£18 for members of the TRA or clubs affiliated to EA/UKA
£20 for unattached runners
