OH MY OBELISK!

A choice of two multi-terrain events (approximately 13.6 miles or 9 miles) with mud, hills, fields, woodland tracks and quiet country lanes with stunning views. Both routes start at Dawlish Leisure Centre. The nine mile event heads back to Dawlish at the end of the second Long Lane section through fields and lanes while the half marathon continues on to Mamhead forest, taking in the Obelisk and then back down to the finish at the Leisure Centre.

Race starts at 10:30am and finishes at the sports field Sandy Lane, Dawlish EX7 0AF

Parking at Dawlish Leisure Centre is limited so please use Sandy Lane car park (charges apply) or road side parking where permitted. Please allow plenty of time to collect your race number before the 10:30 start.

If you had a deferral from last year, we’ll contact you, however if you get missed, please email us.

Please note that entrants will not be able to run with dogs. The wearing of headphones is only permitted if they are of the Bone Conducting design at a volume such that you can hear marshals and are aware of your fellow competitors and general surroundings. You wear them at your own risk.

Half Marathon runners will need to reach the 4.5 mile cut-off location in 1 HOUR If you arrive there after that time, you will be directed on to the 9 Mile course. Please respect the referee’s decision.

Oh My Obelisk! is also a cupless event. Please bring your own bottle for refilling at our water stations.

Entrants will collect their race number on the morning of the race.

We will be accepting number transfers. Please note that this will only be done on the morning of the race!

There’s a free bag drop facility at the HQ in the leisure centre, however Dawlish Coasters accept no responsibility for lost or forgotten items.

Prizes: 1st, 2nd, 3rd male and female finishers for both distances.

There’s an Oh my Obelisk bespoke medal for all finishers!
