Sidmouth Saunter 2025

Sidmouth Saunter 2025 – There will be three routes.
RUNNERS MOST WELCOME.
30 miles: start: 0800 walkers; 0900 runners
18 miles: start: 0800; 0900 runners
10 miles- walkers and runners- anytime from 8 am until 10 am
Drinks , toast and biscuits available before the start.
Food and cold drinks available at checkpoints along the way.
Pasty and hot and cold drinks available at the finish.
PLEASE BRING A MUG as none will be provided on the day. Dogs are not allowed to enter the Hall BUT will be allowed on the walk. Please ask if you need a dog-minder!
Entrants must be able to read a map and follow compass bearings and
must have sufficient knowledge, experience, equipment and navigational skills
to take part in this walk in all conditions and especially in the event of bad weather.
All routes are covered by the OS Explorer 115 Exmouth & Sidmouth (1:25,000).
Certificates will be given on the day to all those who complete the walk.
ALL ENTRANTS MUST DOWNLOAD A FULL ROUTE DESCRIPTION from C&D LDWA Website, print it and take it to the event.
Entry is limited to 200 people.

Route descriptions and gpx files will be available by 13th April 2025, on the C&D LDWA website, after they have been tested on the Marshals’ walk.
